Cancellation Policy
Last updated on January 15, 2025
This Cancellation Policy explains how clients may cancel, defer, or reschedule Fordax programs, and what happens to fees.
It is based on our Terms & Conditions of Service (last updated January 15, 2025). A separate written agreement with you or your organization overrides conflicting provisions.
Cancellation or deferral by the client
Clients who cancel at least 7 days before the start date and notify us in writing may receive a full refund or deferral.
Cancellations or deferrals requested less than 7 days before the start date are non-refundable.
Deferrals requested after the program begins are not allowed, except at Fordax’s discretion.
Rescheduling before the program starts
Fordax expects students to complete their program within the scheduled period. A student may request a reschedule or postponement by submitting a written request at least 7 days before the program begins.
Requests made after that period are not guaranteed and are approved only at Fordax’s discretion. Rescheduling or deferral may place you into a future available class or an alternative learning method (including virtual, blended, scripted, or other options) as determined by Fordax.
Transfers and replacement participants
Clients may request a transfer of fees to a future class or alternative program. Transfers are granted at Fordax’s discretion based on availability, justification, administrative impact, program structure, and supporting documentation.
Transfers may attract administrative fees. A participant may nominate a replacement attendee, subject to Fordax’s approval.
Approved future-use credits or transfers must generally be used within six (6) months of the original payment date, after which unused credit expires.
Cancellation by Fordax
If Fordax cancels a program and does not offer an acceptable alternative, or fails to deliver the training and cannot reschedule, a 100% refund applies under our Refund Policy.
If a facilitator cannot attend due to an emergency, Fordax may assign another qualified facilitator, reschedule the class, or provide an alternative delivery format.
Conduct-related cancellation
Fordax may immediately cancel admission or registration and remove any participant who disrupts class, violates ethical standards, compromises safety, or breaches the Code of Conduct. In those cases, fees paid are not refundable.
Force majeure
Fordax is not liable for delays, rescheduling, or cancellations caused by events beyond our control (including natural disasters, government regulations, public health crises, strikes, civil unrest, or infrastructure disruptions). We will provide alternatives such as rescheduling, virtual classes, or transfers. Refunds may not apply except as described in our Refund Policy.
Refund eligibility is described in more detail in our Refund Policy.
